"L'Atelier de Balthus" est une association à but non lucratif régie par les articles 60 ss du Code civil suisse. Elle est déclarée de pure utilité publique. L'Association a pour buts de faire connaître l'artiste Balthus, sa vie, son œuvre et les thèmes directs et indirects s'y rapportant, sa famille directe et sa famille artistique au travers de deux lieux, soit La Chapelle et L'Atelier. 

Gérer et sélectionner de manière exclusive le contenu culturel (visites, films, conférences, publications, concerts, événements et expositions) de la Chapelle ainsi que de son bon fonctionnement, gérer l'esthétique du jardin et de la tombe attenante à la chapelle. "L'Atelier de Balthus" is a non-profit association governed by articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It is declared to be of pure public utility. The Association's goals are to make known the artist Balthus, his life, his work and the direct and indirect themes related to him, his direct family and his artistic family through two places, the Chapel and the Atelier.

The association exclusively manages and selects the cultural content (visits, films, conferences, publications, concerts, events and exhibitions) of the Chapel as well as its proper functioning; manage the aesthetics of the garden and the grave adjoining the chapel. The association also manages Balthus's Atelier and its access.
